Curtis Jackson

Mr. Curtis Lamar Jackson passed away  peacefully on October 26, 2022 surrounded by family at St. Vincent’s East in Trussville, Al. He was born on March 4, 1967 in Alexander City, Al to the late Mr. Alfred Owens and Ms. Gloria Jackson. He attended public school in Bell County, Tx and was a proud graduate of Belton High School class of 1985 in Belton, Tx.

While here on earth he was an extremely hard worker giving 22 years of his working career to Madix in Goodwater, Al then later becoming an assistant plant manager at SL of Alabama in Alexander City, Al until his decline in health. 

Curtis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching football(cheering on the Texas Longhorns and Auburn Tigers), listening to music, and watching NASCAR racing.

Loving memories of Curtis Jackson will always and forever be cherished by: wife LaKeisha Barnes of Alexander City, AL; 6 children Samuel Toler of Alexander City, AL; Jeremy(Kasey) Toler of Muncie, IN; Ashley Toler of Alexander City, AL; Angelitte(Justin) Hammock of Fairborn, OH; Jasmine(Joceline) Wyckoff of Villa Rica, GA; and the (late) LaQuisha Wyckoff of Alexander City, Al; 6 grandchildren Omari Toler, Iliya Toler, Aaron Toler, Alex Toler, Auriel Hammock and Janiya Hammock; 4 siblings Sara(John) Russell of Alexander City, AL, Patricia(Anthony) Jackson of Alexander City, Al; Alfreda(Kenneth) Broome of Alexander City, Al; Alfred(Gayla) Owens, Jr. of Cussetta, AL and best friend/brother Henry(Beth) Hankins of Belton, TX; close friends Donnie Russell, Elmore Unbehant, Robert Lumpkin and a host of nieces, nephews, other dear relatives, devoted friends, and numerous acquaintances.
