Mr. Edmond Holley as born January 7, 1940 to the late Mr. Woodson and the late Mrs. Essie Holley. He was the oldest son of 18 children.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion. West Baptist Church located in Ourtown, AL. He was united in Holy Matrimony with Marjorie Jarmon for many years.
At an early age he worked at Ballard Master Mix Feed Mill in Ourtown, AL. Later he was a truck driver for Russell Mills until his retirement. During his retirement he enjoyed farming, fishing and landscaping.
He was preceded in death by one son Roy L. Holley.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving daughter, Donna (Steve) Chapman and a loving son, Edmond Strong of Alexander City, AL; two granddaughters, Ashari Chapman of Mobile, Aland Chancia Strong of Los Angeles, CA; two brothers, William L. Holley and Burl Holley of Alexander City, AL; five sisters, Annie Kendrick of Alexander City, Joann Smith of Kellyton, AL, Kathy Thomas of Goodwater, AL, Gracie Cunningham of Auburn, AL and Jessie Smith of Alexander City, AL; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Holley of Alexander City, AL and Lurie Beard of Warrior, AL; two god daughters, Tracey Patterson of Lithonia, GA and Margie (LaShon) Garrett of Goodwater, AL; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, the entire Ballard Family and friends who loved him dearly.
