James Weese Obituary

James Weese was born April 29, 1934 to Leroy J and Tilla K Weese in the mountains of North Georgia. He grew up primarily in Akron Ohio except for a few short wonderful years in Hokes Bluff , Alabama. Jim served active duty in the army at Fort Bliss, Texas. after leaving active service he entered the army reserves ; while in the reserves he taught at the US Army War college. He retired as a lieutenant colonel. Jim was active in scouting. He was a mason and rose to the rank Of Grand Lodge master. Jim enjoyed helping in the Shriners parades to raise money for disabled children. James(Jim) is survived by his three children, Roy (Pam)and Jimmy (Jean) Weese and Donna (Mike) Hickey along with his niece , Elizabeth Stokes, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
