Zora Huntley

Mrs. Zora Mae Huntley was born March 24, 1944 to Mr. Marshall and Mrs. Lucielle Cleveland in Coosa County, Alabama.

She was a member of Ridge Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Alexander City, Alabama.

She was employed at the Brick Plant and worked at Chapman’s Nursing Home as a CNA for several years. She was a Foster Mother for several years housing many child with loving care and support.

Zora passed away peacefully at her resident on March 5, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her loving daughter Sarah Mae Darby and her son Robert Darby, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband, Dea. James Huntley; two daughters, Tammy (Darrell Owens) Milner; Mrs. Valarie (Bobby) Norris; and one son; Anthony (Yolanda) Milner all of Alexander City, AL; three sisters, Linda Chapman of Alexander City, AL, Dorothy Marbury of Chicago, IL, and Jerry Chapman of Danville, IL; a sister-in-law, Inez Whetstone of Alexander City, AL; a brother-in-law, Sammy (Robbie) Huntley of Alexander City, AL; 12 grandchildren, Princess (Brandon) Russell, and Julisa Milner  of Alexander City, Latrevor Milner of Grand Junction, CO, Marco Harrell, LaShonda Glenn, Krystal (Kasey) Cunningham, Marquita Harrell, Laquida (Japp) Craig, Veronica (Shanon) Trimble, Demetrius Trimble, Monica Trimble and Keith Hicks all of Alexander City, AL; two special friends, Elaine Hicks Bailey and Vette Hicks; a Godson, Jessie Harrell; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
